I am catching good numbers of Summer Steelhead and releasing lots of Summer Chinook. The Columbia river opens Saturday the 16th for Summer Chinook. I am going to target both Steelhead and Chinook for the next two weeks and then Summer Steelhead through August. This is an awesome fishery. Some of these Chinook can reach 30 to 40 plus pounds.
